What booking costs in London

Honest bands by area, and what the number on a listing does and does not include.

Last checked October 2026

London rates sit in fairly predictable bands, and the biggest single factor is where the booking happens. Central and west costs more than east and south, for the straightforward reason that the rent does.

Typical hourly bands

As a rough guide, an hour of incall in central London commonly falls between two hundred and six hundred pounds, with Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Belgravia sitting at the upper end and areas further out sitting lower. Above that band you are into a smaller, more established tier where four figures an hour is not unusual.

Outcall runs higher than the equivalent incall, and usually carries a minimum booking length of ninety minutes or two hours. You are paying for her travel across a slow city as well as the time itself.

What the figure covers

The number on a listing is for her time. It is not itemised and should not be treated as though it were. Longer bookings almost always work out cheaper per hour, and overnight rates are substantially better value than the same hours booked separately.

Paying

Cash remains the norm. Have it counted and in an envelope before she arrives, and hand it over at the start without ceremony. Deposits of around twenty per cent are common for outcall and for anything booked well ahead.

If you are visiting from abroad

Every listing on this site shows the rate in pounds with a dollar figure alongside, so you are not converting in your head while you browse. Two things surprise American visitors in particular. Tipping is not expected here on top of the agreed fee, and the agreed fee genuinely is the agreed fee, so there is no second conversation about money at the end.

Common questions

Why do rates vary so much between areas?

Mostly because incall premises cost what they cost. A flat in Mayfair carries rent that a flat further out does not, and that difference shows up in the hourly rate.

Should I ever try to negotiate?

No. Rates are set and haggling is the fastest way to have a booking declined. If a figure is above your budget, look for someone whose rate matches it rather than asking for a discount.

Is tipping expected in the UK?

Not in the way it is in the United States. Nothing is expected on top of the agreed fee. A tip is a genuine compliment here rather than an obligation, which visitors from the States often find surprising.
